What Our Customers Say About Us!

Koda's The MuNashee Promise, CGC, TDI 4th Place RRCUS National Sweeps

Dear Bill,

Tonight Nash delighted the evaluator from Therapy Dogs International (TDI) and received certification to be a Therapy Dog at the tender age of 12 months old. Nash also passed the 10-step Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. The evaluator said to his knowledge he had never given TDI certification to a Ridgeback before. The breed is typically stubborn and strong-willed.

I must say I was holding my breath BOTH times Nash was asked to sit — the easiest task on the list. He casually reached way out with his front paws, stuck his rump into the air, and elaborately stretched before slowly seating himself. Uggh! — showing some of that stubbornness. But when I stole a glance at the evaluator, he just chuckled — which caused Nash to cock his head in pure Ridgeback form with raised brow and tilted ears. From there out the evaluator kept praising Nash and saying what a beautifully behaved dog he was. I am so happy for how Nash responded after all of the training we've done together.

Thank you for your instruction. It was priceless! I had read many books, taken obedience classes, and watched many videos, but I needed those private lessons in order for you to critique me and show me where I was failing. At first, it was a bit hard on the ego, but I knew you were right, and that I needed to make adjustments in my thinking and handling. In just three one-on-one lessons, we got things turned around, and now can enjoy Nash for the incredible dog that he is. God has made him very beautiful with a temperament that is calm, curious, and eager to please. I'm looking forward to sharing Nash and God's love with others, and hoping to bring some joy to lives that may be hurting.

We cannot thank you enough for helping with Vikki.

After taking Vikki through puppy classes at a different location and we were still frustrated with her behaviors. She would follow simple commands including sit, stay, and down but only if she wanted to. Daily walks were a battle between who was pulling who down the street. She was becoming bigger everyday and we knew some things had to change.

We were so happy you took Vikki into your home-training program. It was amazing to see the transformation in three short days. She was a new dog, following commands and walking on a loose leash. We also use the "Park it" command often. It is useful when we have guests over or when we are eating dinner. We can do what we need to and she is content on her mat.

We appreciate you taking the time to also teach us. You gave us the building blocks to continue her training at home. Vikki tested us and she did not always want to follow our commands as quickly as she did with you. We used your reinforcement and corrective techniques and she soon knew we were the "alpha dog".

Your training has made our home happier. We now enjoy walking and playing outside. She is calmer in the house and around other people. Nothing could be more gratifying than having your dog obey you in front of others and get the compliments she deserves. Thank you again.

The "Bull$#!&" stops today and he meant it.

It was a total transformation. Bill did an amazing job and Jasper is happier knowing his role in the family. We finally have the dog we always wanted.

Thanks for the time and energy you spent training Murphy.

The change in his obedience in five days time was remarkable. From the basic commands to walking at my side, it was all I had hoped for and more. He still has much to learn, but he is getting better every day.

Just as important as the work you did with Murphy was the time you spent making sure I understood how to continue his training at home. I sincerely appreciate all your help and look forward to working with you again down the road.

Before attending Obedient Dogs' K9-5 School we were feeling very frustrated with our Keeshond Lady.

Usually known as an easy breed, she was displaying dominance to a degree which concerned us. While other trainers were offering either little support or methods we did not like, Bill offered encouragement and patience as well as tips and tricks before we even contracted his services. After one week with Bill, Lady did a complete turn-around. She proved herself to be smart, obedient, and willing to learn. We walked away pleased and with a renewed faith in our own abilities. Bill is a wonderful trainer and we especially liked his training space and one-on-one approach. We look forward to taking Lady to the next level of obedience at Obedient Dogs.

I swear he switched dogs on me.

He said, "The dog is the easy part, you will take some time."

He was right— my approach was all wrong and I've been training dogs for years. God bless his patience.

We tried trainers, behaviorists, vet-prescribed drugs, herbal supplements, and nothing helped.

No one knew how to help Ramsey our aggressive German shepherd. We had two trainers recommend he be put down. We took your "If I can not help, don't pay me" challenge. We were surprised when you seemed to spend more time fixing us than you did on the dog. Once we made some changes, his attitude began to change. He began to trust us and our leadership. I could see the relief in his eyes and body almost immediately once we stepped up, and Ramsey became a relieved follower. He is so much happier and we are proud to show him off instead of locking him up. You have a wonderful gift and we are so thankful for your patience, knowledge, and caring. Even though you were bitten (sorry), you never gave up on him or us.
